Ch-Ch-Check out the new video for the Two Wounded Birds‘ joint “All We Wanna Do.” Even though it’s ridiculously short (one minute thirty), it’s catchy and infectious as hell. Surf rock at its finest!!!

These days, I can’t find myself listening to anything other than the new Craft Spells album, Idle Labour. The band, hailing from Seattle, taps post-punk hashed to the likings of early New Order and Echo and the Bunnymen. Their peachy track, “You Should Close The Door” incorporates plucked guitar chords and low, muffled vocals that compare to late ’70s new wave mainstays. The band’s album officially drops on March 29 via Captured Tracks.
Vancouver artist Bear Mountain just sent over a new track entitled “Swim.” It’s a bit of a preview for his full-length album which is due out this summer on Distorted Disco Records. I”m loving the washed-out electronica vibes…..and definitely looking forward to hearing more from this fellow in the near future! Check out the track below, and head on over to his bandcamp if you want to hear some of his previous EPs.
Saw this film clip over at Indie Music Filter today and instantly fell in love. Not much is known about the band Indians. They don’t have a myspace, or even a decent photo of themselves to post here. What I do know, however, is that I dig their washed-out and dreamy track, “Magic Kids.”
We can now stream “The Preakness,” Panda Bear’s contribution to the Keep cassette, which benefits the Socorro Island Conservation Fund. Just close your eyes and let the harmonious and mellow echoes of Noah Lennox take you away.
